Indulge Me

Hi Aubrey, thank you for having me visit. I’m sharing from my new book Indulge Me, which takes the reader on an erotic journey involving all the senses.

Saffron, a wine taster, and the new man in her life, Gideon, have met up at a French vineyard for their first night together. The weather is warm, there’s a hot tub and she’s keen to know more about him, especially why he has two names.

The sun had lowered and the shadows had lengthened. A spell in the tub on a warm summer’s evening would pull her out of her reminiscing. She rose, looking about, wondering how secluded they really were. Their little patch of garden hemmed in by shrubs and trees, but she couldn’t see a fence or wall.
Behind the wooden partition, Gideon had uncovered the tub and switched on the heater. Standing next to it, he swirled his hand in the water, absentmindedly waiting for it to warm up.
Not too hot.” She stuck a finger in —the water seemed pleasantly tepid.
Moving behind her, he picked at the bathrobe cord, undoing the knot. Her breaths quickened as the robe slipped down her body and she shivered, conscious of her nudity and outside breeze fanning her exposed sex.
He nudged her back with his hand. “In you get,” he urged.
Putting her toes in the water, she re-assessed the need for heat. What had felt sufficiently warm, now felt too cool. She goose bumped all over her arms.
She shot her leg back out. “I’ll wait.”
Gideon tossed his towel to one side and climbed in, sloshing the water over the side as he immersed his body underwater up to his neck. “Come on, Saffron.” He splashed the water in her direction. She jumped back, shrieking.
Her second attempt was more successful. She lowered her body inch by inch, aware of the heat pumping out of the vents by her feet. Soon, she’d been complaining she was too hot.
Lovely,” Saffron crooned, settling on the low shelf next to him.
For a while, they both relaxed, resting the backs of their heads on the padded rim of the tub. Gideon switched on the Jacuzzi effect and bubbles turned the surface frothy and white.
You’ve never called me Saffy,” she blurted.
What?” He blinked several times—the sun blazing across his face.
Everyone always thinks I want to be called Saffy. I hate it. But, you haven’t.”
You don’t look like a Saffy. Saffron suits you, although your hair isn’t exactly yellow.”
I was blonde as a child, but it darkened up before I went to school. So why not Rolfe?”
My father chose it.” He turned away, shading his eyes from the sun. “I’m moving to the other side.”
He sat opposite her with his back to the sun. His shadow sheltered her, but cast his features into darkness. And? She waited for him to say something else, but he didn’t. Nothing about his parents or past life whether romance, childhood or hobbies, he remained elusive and uncommunicative.
Remaining low, she scooted across to join him. He placed his hand on her thigh and she parted her legs. She hadn’t invited him, but he assumed anyway, and he slid his hand up and touched her sex. She moaned, tilted her head back and closed her eyes.
With his hand under the water, he played with her. Hidden from the view under a swirl of foam, he teased, probed and pinched. She couldn’t sense her wetness, but it had to be developing rapidly. The water fizzed about her nipples, tickling them, while underwater, she squirmed as he inserted a finger inside her pussy.
Throughout his finger fucking, he kissed and pecked her mouth and exposed neck with nibbles. She tried to copy him, let her hands explore, but she’d gone peculiarly weak and incapable. Close to achieving a climax, she must have shaken her head or something—an attempt to stave off the orgasm. Gideon withdrew his finger.

BLURB
She sees him once.

He’s standing across the wine cellar watching her when their eyes meet. Miles away from home in California’s Napa Valley, she’s caught in his gaze. Though, neither one speaks, for a moment the rest of the world falls away, and she sends him a smile.

She sees him again.

Back home in England. Is it the same man? In the middle of a crowded wine fair, she spots him. A smile of recognition, but no words exchanged. She shakes it off, the same line of business, the same events, it's a small world.

The third is no coincidence.

She's running a private tasting and in walks her mystery man, dressed in a fine suit. What does she really know about him other than they share a love of wine? She’s intrigued, even more so when she discovers he has sought her out. When he invites her to a private session in a wine cellar, deep underneath a castle, she begins to uncover his secrets.

Saffron surrenders her body and embarks on an indulgent journey with the attractive sommelier, Gideon. As a wine taster, Saffron continually uses her senses to carve out a successful career, driving her to the peak of her profession. However, when Gideon leads her on an erotic adventure fueled by passion and self-discovery, she's startled to learn that she's been living her life ignorant of sensory pleasures that require other talents, ones she’d never explored with her previous, disastrous lover. That man, who envies her success, is waiting to strike back and destroy everything she has achieved.

“Nothing wrong with your arse..." Jaye Peaches is here with Sophia and the Duke

Hi Aubrey, thank you for inviting me to your blog.

I’ve brought along an excerpt from my latest book, Sophia and the Duke, which is a Regency spanking romance.  The fun part of writing about this time is wives had to do as they were told, due to their status and if not, they’re in trouble! When an aristocratic young widow marries a rough around the edges colonial fur trapper, who has inherited a dukedom, she has to go against her natural pride and show him respect. Sophia, due to her unfortunate attitude towards her new husband, has been spanked and sent to their bedroom. However, Nathanial is keen to move on and help her recover from her uncomfortable situation.

The mattress next to her sank as he laid next to her. She tensed, seeing him scoop out a dollop onto his finger and she squeezed her eyes tightly shut. She yelped when the cold unction touched her heated skin.
“Keep still,” he warned, making circles with his finger. “This needs cooling down first.” He applied another layer of cream to her other cheek. “Then this one.”
Sophia squirmed, bucking her bottom up and down as he made larger circles, smearing the cold cream to cover her whole buttock. When he slipped his fingers down the furrow between her cheeks, she moaned and he chuckled.
“Spread your arse cheeks. Go on!”
She reached around and separated her buttocks, and at the same time, buried her face in the pillow.
“Tut,” he admonished. “Nothing wrong with your arse. Quite lovely. I might fuck it one day.”
“Nathanial!” she shrieked and he cuffed her bottom in reply.

After the passing of her husband, the elderly Duke of Brockenhurst, twenty-two-year-old Sophia chafes at her family’s expectations during her lengthy mourning period. When she is free to re-emerge in society at last, at her grandmother’s insistence she entertains the courtship of Nathaniel Hartwell, a distant cousin of the old duke and the man next in line for the title.

To her shock, Sophia learns that Nathaniel has spent the last eight years living as a trapper and fur trader in the mountains of Canada, isolating himself from the world after the tragic death of the woman he loved. Though he is a rough, uncivilised man, his devilishly handsome looks and commanding presence excite her in a way nothing ever has before.

Sophia sets out to transform the new duke into someone suitable for polite society, but when her comments become disrespectful and mocking Nathaniel takes issue with her behaviour. Almost before she knows it, she is over his lap and her aristocratic bottom has been bared for a sound spanking.

Knowing that it is the right choice for all concerned, Nathaniel asks her to be his wife, but despite the fact that their marriage begins as one of convenience he is determined to show Sophia the intense pleasure a strong man’s dominant lovemaking can bring her. Though her spoiled attitude occasionally earns her a bright red, well-spanked bottom, as the weeks pass her desire for him grows ever stronger. But can love truly bridge the gulf between people from such different worlds?

Publisher’s Note: Sophia and the Duke is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, sexual scenes, anal play, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Behind the Locked Door- Viola's Heart Strings

I'm happy to have Jaye Peaches visiting me again. She's got a fabulous new book that's just come out. This excerpt she's sharing had me gasping in delight. And I have to say, this cover is just beautiful!

Thank you, Aubrey, for having me visit. I’ve brought along a short excerpt from my latest book, Viola’s Heart Strings, a Victorian spanking romance. Viola has recently married baronet Sir Anton and now lives in a large mansion. Some of the rooms are locked and she is desperate to know what lies inside. Stealing her husband’s keys, she is on a mission to find out.

The bunch contained a dozen keys of many dimensions and styles. It took Viola several attempts to find the right one for the hole. Her shaking hands didn’t help her and when the door opened, she was relieved it didn’t emit a ghostly creak.

Before her a long corridor. In the dim light cast from the bedchamber’s oil lamp, she could make out a window at the far end of the corridor. Shuttered, like all of the rooms facing out on this side of the house, there was no daylight. Lighting a candle, she slowly walked down the corridor until she reached the shutter. They were bolted shut. She slid back the rusty bolt and opened the shutters to let a modicum of hazy sunlight into the corridor.

She viewed the white washed walls and the oak wooden floorboards; nothing else adorned the corridor except candlestick holders. Leading off the corridor were five white doors. Reaching for the handle, she opened the first door to her left and as she expected it led into a stairwell. The tower rose above her head and the narrow winding staircase ascended to the observation point. Downstairs would be the back staircase to the lower floors. The stairwell was dark and damp with a musty smelling draught.

Shutting the door, Viola turned and tried the door to her left. The candle fluttered slightly and she held the candlestick holder tightly with her fingers. Turning the doorknob, the catch clicked and the door moved. Pushing gently, she opened it and held up her light.

Viola gasped. She hadn’t expected to see what she did: a wooden post, and attached to the upper portion, leather cuffs for ensnaring wrists. About the room there were several mirrors on the walls. Was this a whipping post? She remembered one night, clinging to the bedpost while Anton had taken her from behind. Her raucous cries as she came had driven him to a rapid completion. Far from hating the position, she yearned for him to repeat the act.

Viola held the flickering candle up and came face to face with herself in a mirror—her skin had paled. She knew exactly who had been tied to the post in the past—Margot.

After a chance meeting, young Viola Pritchard finds herself married to the enigmatic Sir Anton Valise. The innocent Viola falls fast for her new husband. She loves him and only wishes to please him and be the wife he wishes her to be. She's surprised to find that she craves Anton's passionate and dominant lovemaking, and even lusts for him to take her in more erotic ways.

Determined not to repeat mistakes from his past, Anton tries to keep Viola at a distance. Her sweet submission and unflagging loyalty prove to be his weakness. The baronet introduces rules to ensure his new wife will remain obedient, not trusting that her intentions could be so pure.

When Viola discovers a series of secret rooms and a diary left behind by Anton's late wife, she unearths a chilling mystery. With tension between the couple rising, Anton and Viola's relationship reaches a crisis point. Can Viola crack the armor around her baronet's safely guarded heart?
