#MySexySaturday ~Our Sexy Night~ One...and Done

How I've missed you, My Sexy Saturday! This week I'm hosting one of my favorite ladies, Allyson Young. She is sharing from her hot new erotic romance, One and Done.

Kate wasn't dreaming of forever, but maybe more than one night...

When I met Drew at that damn wedding our chemistry was off the charts. All he could offer was the weekend, but uncharacteristically, I jumped at it. When he slipped away like a thief in the night I was blindsided by loss, even knowing people don’t fall in love at first sight! He left me a lifelong reminder though, one to make its appearance in about seven months. Too bad he’d never know…

She was always on my mind, and I couldn’t afford the distraction in this forsaken country where one false move could mean my death. My sniper training dissolved when I thought about Katie and our time together. I was a one and done kind of guy, but this time it was different. I’d be stateside in a few months and offer the apology she deserved. Maybe she’d forgive me, if there wasn’t another man in her life…

Excerpt-

The equally pale piece of paper took shape against the quartz countertop when I set the cup down. My breath shortened and something central in my chest tightened. Fingers creeping across the smooth surface, I inched the note closer. Block printing in a heavy, masculine hand delivered the message with utter clarity.
Katie- Got the call. Deployed sooner than expected. Stole a kiss goodbye. I’ll treasure our time together. Drew
My hand drifted up to touch my lips. They trembled and I pressed them firm, sucking in a lungful of air through my nose. I was such a treasure that people abandoned me. A mirthless laugh escaped past my hand and I swiftly catalogued the situation, regaining control. Attended a wedding and met a hot guy. Fucked said guy. So what? Lots of women hooked up, nothing surprising. Had great sex. No harm, no foul. After all, he’d set the parameters upfront. One … and done.
Picking the note up by a corner, I carried it over to the trash and dropped it in, then poured the remaining coffee down the sink. Best not to think about all the confidences shared during the recovery times, or the laughter and easy banter. The way I thought we’d connected past the fucking. Sex didn’t have to make things awkward, right? And now, if I felt like yesterday’s bread, well, I’d done it to myself. And my name was Kate.
Checking the time, I hurried to pull out some clothes suitable for brunch. My girlfriends met in half an hour and I had no reason to miss it today. No need to mention how I’d filled the better part of the weekend either. I yanked the bedding off the mattress and wadded it up, jamming the linens into the hamper. My housekeeper would take care of the rest.
Adding a spritz of citrus, I smoothed the sundress over my thighs, then grabbed my purse. Moving on.

Earth Girls & Aliens

A few years ago I got an idea for a sci-fi serial I had dubbed Sorority Girls In Space. I wanted it to be very over the top spoofy, and had written up a ton of notes on it. I then promptly put it at the bottom of my to-do pile, and mostly forgot about it. Although, I never completely forget any of my plot babies.

Most of them just get put on the back burner, the ones nagging me the loudest getting the most attention. Luckily Sorority Girls In Space was a boisterous bunch. A couple months ago, before I took my big break, I had started outlining a few stories.

The ones I am most excited about picking back up are part of a sci-fi rom series that is a product of my Sorority Girls In Space.

This series will tentatively be three books. The stories are based around three best friends who are, of course, abducted by hunka, hot aliens. So far the stories are leaning more towards steamy romance than erotic, but I already have an alien hero threatening to spank.

Since all the stories coincide with one another the plan is to work up the first draft of all of them as a whole before releasing any of them.

Right now I'm on the first heroine's story, working title Bambi's Abduction, and I've been entertaining the crap out of myself writing it. If no one else finds these books humorous at least I can crack myself up. These stories still have a long way to go--I feel like I've made so much progress and nothing at all--but book one is really taking shape.

I won't be sharing a ton from these for a while yet, but I'd like to share a taste of what I've been working on. The scene is pretty self explanatory:
It’s on the tip of my tongue to ask tall dark and scaly one, two, and three what the hell is going on, but I don’t know if they’ll understand me. They don’t look civilized in anyway, except for the fact that they’ve achieved a level of space travel brilliant scientists on Earth have only dreamt of achieving.

So yeah, there’s that.

I’ve been abducted by a race of primitive geniuses.

A giggle bubbles out of me I can’t control and I cover my mouth to stifle it. Have I mentioned I’m a nervous giggler? Not my favorite thing about myself. It’s hard to be taken seriously when you’re blonde, big boobed, your name is Bambi, and you’re prone to giggling.

Three pairs of eyes show surprise and from the looks of the inflating billy clubs pressing up against their trousers, my giggle’s like some weird alien mating call.

Shit. I’ve read about this sort of thing in trashy sci-fi novels. From the sheer size of these creatures this entire scenario doesn’t bode well for any of my orifices.

I don’t want to go where no Earth girl has gone before.

That's it for now. Happy reading everyone!

And always remember:

Look Who The Cat Dragged In

It's me. I'm backish!

So, what did I miss?

I know it must be a lot. I feel like I've been gone forever.

Back in November when I took my break (has it been that long?) I'd been working on quite a few different stories. I'd loved to report that I have a slew of new books coming out but alas, the universe had other plans for me.

What was supposed to be a working sabbatical quickly took a turn down chronic illness lane. I've never shared my heath stuff on here--it seems a rather depressing topic for a naughty author--but I have had chronic Ebstein-Barr Virus for the past four years and sometimes it lays me low, which it did this past holiday season.

Along with feeling like the back end of a butt dragging donkey, I had some rather unpleasant vertigo. Reading and writing went out the window and I battened down the hatches to ride out the storm.

I'm easing my way back into things, so you may be seeing more of me poking my head out of my gopher hole in the near future.

On a very happy note, I saw that a few of my stories and characters have been nominated for Best Spanking Romance 2015, which I'm tickled pink about! Or is that spanked a rosy red?
